Milestones
Line by line, wave by wave, all in parallel
We do not wait for the whole survey. Each line moves through the stages as soon as its survey is done. Lines are grouped into waves, lot by lot.
Track A feeds step 3: cable is already in production when each wave’s drum schedule is approved; final quantities follow the approved drum schedules.
Pilot: VTPS–Rentachintala goes through first

Wave plan, November 2026 to June 2027
RFP to LoI: Lot-V (RFP-1), then Lot-I and Lot-IV (RFP-2). Shaded: no line clears (elections until about the 3rd week of December; exams from the 1st week of March, end date to confirm). Dashed: LoI supply deadlines (09 Jan, 09 Feb) and erection deadlines (09 Mar, 09 Jun). Black tick: delivery and Form-13 check measurement.
Wave dates
| LoI | Wave | km | Survey done | Drum schedule | Approved | FAT | Delivered (Form-13) | Stringing | SAT |

Assumes: drum schedule 5 days after field survey; approval 14 days; FAT from 10 Dec and Form-13 about 7 days after FAT, with cable production on LoI quantities; Lot-V stringing about 25 km a month per gang (10 gangs), 96F about 18–20 km a month per gang; Lot-I gangs move to Lot-IV Nellore from 16 Feb.
Target dates against the LoI
Days early: last Form-13 against the LoI supply date, and last SAT against the LoI erection completion date.

Stringing gangs on the ground
By half month. Peak of 24 gangs from January to early May across all three LoIs.
Route survey progress
205.7 of 2,036 km surveyed (10.1%)Progress against the LoI quantity. Three teams (Group A) now; seven from 13 Nov when Groups B and C join. All lines surveyed by 14 Dec 2026. Every tower is walked, GPS-fixed and photographed.
Survey action plan by group
10 km per team per day; 6 km in forest and paddy; no Sunday breaks; Diwali off on 08 Nov; one travel day between districts.

Report checks
- To confirm: surveyed spans add to 116,781 m. The 117,081 m total includes 300 m entered at T221 and T222, each 150 m against a note reading "Additional 30 Mtr added". T222 is also marked Proposed Lilo Tower.
- To confirm: ADE jurisdictions as in the report (page 36 note and page 1): Piduguralla to T239 (drums 1–22), Guntur T239–342 (drums 23–33), Vijayawada T342–VTPS (drums 34–36).
- To confirm: earth wire at T118 and T337 is marked OPGW. These two are not counted as shutdown towers.
- Confirmed: T91 GPS is about 70 m off the line. Smaller gaps of about 40 m appear at T267 and T328–329.
- Confirmed: T81A has no tower type in the report.
- Not re-checked: about 10 photos tagged "Vts-Tallapalli" reported 1.4–2.2 km off this line; photo dates (24–28 Oct) against the DPR start date (23 Oct).

Feeder maps · all three LoIs
Where every line runs, from line list v3: four regional sheets for Lots V and IV and the Lot-I map. Lines join the known endpoints; they are not surveyed routes. A dashed badge marks a section with only one endpoint located. Orange 24F, teal 48F, purple 96F (Lot-I in navy). Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors.

Line-clear (LC) calendar
All 96F work (Lots I and IV) needs LCs: bottom cross-arms are fitted on the towers before stringing. Kadapa Lot-V lines also need LCs because conductor-to-earth-wire clearance is low. LC-dependent work is planned into the open window.
The entire 96F contract needs line clears
Bottom cross-arms are fitted on the towers of all Lot-I and Lot-IV lines before stringing. Lot-V waves strung from March (Tirupathi, Kurnool, Anantapur, Nellore) take their LC spans in the Jan–Feb window where material allows; the rest wait for LCs to resume. We request an LC calendar for these 18 lines.
